What are the Minimum Admission Requirements?

How to calculate APS (Application Point Score)?
The minimum acceptable Admission Point score is 25.
This is calculated by adding up the top six subjects on the grade 12 certificate.
Life Orientation is not included.
e.g. English 72% = 7.2 points.
Can International students apply?
No International students will be considered for the 2022 academic year.
What is the Application/Admission process?
Applications are fully online.
Do I qualify for Bursary/ Government Funding?
Candidates who reside in the Western Cape are eligible to apply for a bursary through the Department of Health. Kindly visit their site for more information at www.westerncape.gov.za/healthbursary
Does WCCN offer accommodation for students?
All campuses of WCCN offer accommodation. Students that will not be considered if reside within 50 km from the campus. No student shall be allocated accommodation before paying deposit for resident’s fee or providing proof that she has been allocated bursary.
How can I track the status of my application?
Application Status: The prospective candidate will be informed via email.

Yes, the WCCN is fully accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Council of Higher Education and South African Qualifications Authority.
